A Portaria Normativa 153/2018/GR dispõe sobre o horário de verão na UFSC. Fica estabelecido, entre os dias 11 de dezembro de 2018 e 15 de fevereiro de 2019 o horário de verão dos servidores docentes e técnico-administrativos em educação da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. No período, o expediente será feito no turno matutino, no horário das 7h30min às 13h30min.
